Description

• Oversee all aspects of the company's accounting operations, including but not limited to financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, and tax • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, including preparation of audit schedules, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring timely completion • Enact plans streamline processes, including, but not limited to, GL, financial reporting, tax compliance, and management reporting • Build the accounting function to scale with our growing business • Develops long-term trusted relationships with internal business leaders and external partners, including auditors, tax consultants, and other financial advisors

Requirements

• CPA Required • 7+ years of increasing responsibility in Finance & Accounting • Healthcare experience required • Have led a healthcare organization audit or have been heavily involved • Strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, U.S. Tax Compliance, and management reporting and analysis • Detail oriented and analytical thinker • Self-starter and collaborative team player • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and externally. • Regularly demonstrates Boulder’s core values • Nice to have but not required • Experience in a startup or high growth environment • Big 4 experience • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
