Description

• The primary objective of the position is to lead and manage critical projects that drive efficiency, scalability and improved quality. • Specialty Services includes: Verification services (dependents, life events, state waivers) Evidence of Insurability, QMCSO, COBRA, Billing. • This position is for COBRA and Billing. In future years it may rotate to other areas of the business. • This role is remote and can be filled anywhere in the U.S. However, no matter the candidate’s geography, bswift operates with Central time zone expectations for availability. • This is an individual contributor role, but the Director must be able to use their influence to create accountability and results in a matrixed environment. • Specific responsibilities include rapidly delivering on key projects, coaching and developing junior teammates, managing implementation risks, leading efforts for process improvement, and being a SME to internal and occasionally external customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of service delivery / operations experience • 8+ years of benefits administration experience • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products • Comfortable making decisions in situations of ambiguity • A leadership style that reflects and reinforces bswift core values • Ability to assist and equip others to efficiently solve complex problems • Significant process management experience • Strong customer service orientation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Adaptability to a rapidly changing priority list • Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary • Willingness to travel/work in Chicago office as needed (up to 10%) • B.A. or B.S. required, or equivalent relevant work experience
