• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals • Lead a team defining and implementing data governance policies • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and requirements • Establish and maintain a data governance framework • Monitor data usage and quality, proactively address issues • Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors • Communicate updates to senior leadership • Develop and manage data strategy and governance budget • Mentor and coach team members • Represent organization in industry events • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve capabilities

Requirements

• 10+ years experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related scientific discipline • Familiarity with Data Governance Frameworks • Knowledge of analytics needs of multiple functional areas (e.g., engineering, data product, data science) • Experience with Reltio, Colibri or similar tools • Experience in driving Data Governance program at Enterprise level • Strong expertise with relational databases and SQL • Experience in working with Semi-Structured data • Familiarity with Git, Cloud computing – AWS, LSH, Linux environments • Experience in working on multi-faceted work items around data • Empathy and kindness in helping others • Experience or understanding in drug development processes in pharmaceutical company
