📋 Description

• Oversee and support Site Operations Managers at multiple locations, removing roadblocks and implementing standards and processes that result in improved performance • Responsible for overseeing operations at multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all locations. The leader drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages cross-functional teams, and ensures that production goals are met efficiently and effectively • Supervise, mentor, and develop site managers, engineers, and technicians to foster a high-performance culture • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve optimal performance • Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, and 5S • Ensure compliance with local, federal, and company safety, quality, operational and regulatory standards • Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to continuously improve operations • Communicate effectively and frequently with home base and onsite staff in regard to emergent issues and ideas for improvement • Develop and maintain comprehensive validation documentation to ensure all systems and processes meet industry standards and requirements • Develop, execute, monitor, and manage departmental operational and capital budgets to ensure alignment with the company’s overall financial strategy and budgetary guidelines • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to include investors, customers, customer success leads, and engineering teams • Guide the management of hauler relations and product offtake to optimize operational goals and enhance partnerships • Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike • Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices • Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors • Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks • Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance • Maintain good organization skills • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field • 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, plant operations, or industrial production management • Experience in PSM (Process Safety Management) regulated facilities is ideal • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems • Proven leadership in large-scale facility operations with direct oversight of teams and budgets • Strong knowledge of chemical process engineering, safety regulations, and environmental compliance • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-risk environment • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
