• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS • Develop and maintain cloud automation and orchestration solutions to streamline deployment and operations • Architect and optimize cloud networking solutions to enhance performance and security • Collaborate with development and operations teams to create CI/CD pipelines and automate workflows • Monitor and manage cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency • Conduct thorough assessments of existing cloud environments and recommend improvements • Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members • Actively engage in troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud networking and infrastructure issues • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement • Develop documentation and best practices for cloud automation and networking strategies

Requirements

• Active DOD Secret Clearance • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred) • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with a focus on AWS • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) • Strong hands-on expertise in cloud networking concepts, including VPC design, security groups, route tables, and network access controls • Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a detail-oriented approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead projects and mentor others • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable
