Description

• Provide expert combat systems technical support for the development of next generation naval vessels • Stay current with emerging naval technologies and tools • Participate in business proposal development • Lead engineering teams and mentor team members • Provide clients with accurate technical assessments and recommendations • Develop relationships with clients to determine future engineering requirements

Requirements

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance • Willingness to travel 10% of the time with a current US Passport • Capable of performing design shipchecks onboard MSC and Navy ships • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) • Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, ABET accredited technical degree or equivalent military combat systems experience • Self-starter, technically savvy, capable of multitasking • Possess solid attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical abilities • Fifteen years of engineering experience, with ten years of combat systems experience in acquiring, designing, installing, testing, evaluating, operating, or troubleshooting US Navy Combat Systems Suites (either AEGIS or SSDS) • Five years of experience performing as an engineering team lead in charge of 10 or more team members • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to market CACI team capabilities • Experience briefing complex technical issues to clients and respective decision makers with regards to cost, schedule, performance, and risk
