We’re constantly growing, and that’s where this new opportunity comes in – for a Business Development Specialist for our Simplebid® JOC program. • In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Simplebid® Director of Sales in identifying new client opportunities, building and maintaining relationships, and enabling the greater sales team to exceed targets. • Primary focus will be our Simplebid® JOC software platform. • Identify target clients through research and lead generation. • Responsible for personally identifying a specific amount of unique new sales opportunities. • Work collaboratively with other business development professionals throughout the firm regarding marketing and business development activities. • Participate in client engagement planning meetings and assist with pursuit execution including written proposal content development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in a related position. • Related industry experience and a network of public construction and procurement decision makers is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, but not required. • Additional certifications and/or training relevant to this role preferred. • Experience with customer relationship management software platforms. • Experience in relationship development and lead generation. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Ability to communicate authentically and respectfully. • Some travel will be required.
