📋 Description

• The Director provides leadership to ensure best practices guide curriculum development. • Working with the Vice President, supports strategic goals in Training and Development. • Collaborates with stakeholders to provide high quality programming across platforms. • Coordinates resources, personnel, and processes to deliver training programs effectively. • Serves as a trusted resource in providing consultations on adult learning principles. • Supports design of online courses and manages scheduling of developments. • Facilitates reporting on Training and Development functions. • Reviews and evaluates instructional effectiveness of developed materials. • Ensures a customer-service approach in responding to content development requests. • Remains current with industry technology tools and trends in adult learning. • Evaluates and recommends hardware and software needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferable with an emphasis on adult learning and/or instructional design. • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in an adult learning setting, including online course development, outcomes assessment, and instructional design. • Project Management Certification preferred. • Supervisory experience required. • Excellent oral and written communications skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Competency in a variety of computer software packages and tools for online course development. • Ability to apply adult learning theory and andragogical/pedagogical best practices. • Strong skills in design and development of web-based instructional pages. • Ability to interpret stakeholder and content owning needs.
