📋 Description

• Provides leadership to ensure that best practices guide curriculum development, design, and delivery of Training and Development programs • Collaborates with key stakeholders to provide high quality programming across multiple platforms • May participate in course design to maintain skills with necessary pedagogy and technology • Coordinates resources, personnel, and processes needed to ensure timely delivery of training and development programs • Works with the Vice President, People and Culture to develop project schedules • Provides consultations to stakeholders in the application of adult learning principles • Supports design of online courses • Manages scheduling of project and course developments based on organizational goals • Facilitates reporting on Training and Development functions • Reviews and evaluates the instructional effectiveness of course materials • Ensures a customer-service approach in responding to content development requests • Remains current with industry technology tools and trends in adult learning • Evaluates and recommends hardware and software needs for Training and Development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferable with emphasis on adult learning and/or instructional design • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in an adult learning setting • Project Management Certification preferred • Supervisory experience required • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Strong attention to detail • Competency in a variety of computer software packages and tools • Ability to apply adult learning theory and andragogical/pedagogical best practices • Strong skills in design and development of web-based instructional pages • Ability to interpret stakeholder and content owning needs • Ability to manage tasks to meet specified deadlines • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and content owners • Strong project management skills • Ability to continually adapt and learn new skills
