📋 Description

•Assist the local territory Account Manager in visiting stores to promote products, train customers, obtain orders and assist at local sales events. •Once trained, have a product focus for each sales call. •Provide daily call reports describing activities, successes, and objections in the field. •Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular customers to train and solicit orders. •Speak with customers on the sales floor or by phone. •Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize salable features. •Quote prices and credit terms for orders obtained. •Estimate date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules. •Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts. •Report territory activity to the supervisor on a regular basis in written form. •Manage car stock inventory. •Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the hiring manager and Human Resources. •Must be in possession of a valid driver's license and has the ability to drive a vehicle. •Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers; bilingual English/Spanish required. •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. •Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. •Ability to gain information from clients and communicate the needs and desires to other members of the sales team. •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. •Strong understanding of sales profit and loss concepts. •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. •Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while being self-motivated and a good team builder.
