Description
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for indirect procurement activities and savings opportunities. • Operational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, performance management & operational support. • Develops longer-term strategies to address vendor issues and business process outsourcing opportunities. • Partner with digital team on automation solutions to manage indirect procurement. • Analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. • Responsible for overall relationship and escalations for key vendor accounts. • Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. • Ensures supplier or vendor is performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree • 5+ years’ experience in sourcing and operations • MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM) preferred • Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools preferred • Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data preferred • Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution) and category specific experience preferred • Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment preferred • Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication preferred • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization preferred
