• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead our team focused on document management systems and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies. • You will oversee the development and integration of cutting-edge OCR solutions, document processing workflows, and data extraction technologies to streamline and automate document-heavy business processes. • This is a hands-on leadership role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, UI/UX, and operations, while fostering innovation and technical excellence within your team. • The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, experience with document management systems, and a strong understanding of OCR, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of software development experience with at least 2-3 years in a leadership/managerial role. • Strong background in document management systems, OCR technologies, and data extraction processes. • Hands-on experience with OCR platforms such as AWS Textract, Microsoft Azure Form Recognizer, or other AI/ML-driven OCR solutions. • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering large-scale software solutions. • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA). • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, javascript • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and developing cloud-native applications. • Strong understanding of machine learning (ML) models and their applications in OCR and data extraction. • Experience with APIs, microservices, and modern software architecture patterns. • Solid experience in event driven design paradigm using applications (Kafka, SQS, SNS etc.) • Proficient in designing, building, and deploying microservices-based applications.
