• Generating new business opportunities • Sourcing and qualifying leads to generate new business opportunities • Developing a territory plan that includes pro-active and consistent new business generation • Running a high-performance end-to-end sales process • Performing in depth discovery processes with prospective clients to understand their key pain points and business objectives • Drive the value proposition and messaging throughout the sales process • Collaborate with solutions consultants to demonstrate Castor’s value proposition to prospective clients • Collaborate with internal teams to present a tailored proposal and run negotiations and contracting processes with the client • Developing strategic and high-value enterprise accounts • Developing customized account plans • Measuring and delivering against account KPIs • Growing, monitoring and analyzing your territory • Managing and monitoring sales activity by analyzing and controlling pipeline against quota • Managing and evangelizing your own commercial customers • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends to engage customers • Analyzing territory performance and delivering insights to sales leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in selling in the life science industry • 3-5+ years of experience selling into mid-market and enterprise clients • Knowledge of MEDDICC and value-based selling methodologies • Passionate about health tech and medical technology • Experience of cultivating new business deals within the commercial medical research space • A strong track record of performing at and exceeding quotas • A consultative approach to selling software solutions or services • You have effectively managed a full sales cycles, including outbound funnels • A proactive approach to targets and confident communication skills to identify, develop, and close deals • Excellent emotional intelligence, great listening skills and the ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast paced and dynamic start-up culture • Relevant understanding of clinical guidelines: ICH-GCP - Good Clinical Practice, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and relevant GXP Regulations and Guidances.
