β€’ Supporting discovery calls to determine scope and technical requirements. β€’ Aligning technical requirements with product modules. β€’ Distilling pre-sales discovery into a concise message about inefficiencies/challenges. β€’ Partnering cross-functionally to facilitate pre and post sales engagements. β€’ Demonstrating the product effectively in person and through virtual meetings. β€’ Tailoring demo messaging to specific audiences. β€’ Preparing written documentation for implementation staff.

Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of experience in the technology SaaS software industry with 3+ years of proven experience serving as a pre-sales sales engineer role. β€’ BS degree in business, computer science/engineering or a related field. β€’ Basic knowledge with common software licensing practices (cloud, perpetual, maintenance, etc.). β€’ Excellent written and verbal communications skills. β€’ Ability to work in a rapid growth environment. β€’ Experience with sales methodology (MEDDIC, TAS, SPIN, Solution Selling, Force Management). β€’ ERP experience is a plus.
