•Avantus is shaping the future by making reliable, low-cost clean energy a global reality. •Our legal team is seeking an experienced attorney to support our growing PV+S project pipeline. •This position reports to the Senior Supervising Counsel, Commercial. •The ideal candidate will have experience in the renewable energy industry on utility-scale solar and battery storage project development.

Requirements

•Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. •Admitted to applicable state bar. •Minimum 6 years of experience with commercial transactions, construction, and/or financing for solar, storage, wind or other renewable energy related experience required. •Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams of internal and external resources. •Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills. •High level of integrity with the ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships. •An entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic with a desire to roll up your sleeves and get the job done in a fast-paced environment and rapidly growing business. •Willingness to be flexible about your work schedule to support closings and to meet deadlines and shifting demands and priorities. •Willingness to travel as required.
