Description

• Represents Data Governance in assigned data domains • Applies Data Ownership & Stewardship structure • Evaluates and remediates Data Quality issues • Curates the data catalog with data domain/system related definitions and knowledge • Leads owners and stewards in implementing key Data Governance initiatives • Provides customer support through consistently leading meetings with senior stakeholders and IT • Performs data analysis through development of code for data domain related needs • Develops presentations through delivery of results to the internal teams • Produces the curation of data catalog for data domain • Validates rules to enhance data quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, health management, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or related field • 4 years of experience as a Data Governance Specialist II or similar • Strong aptitude for learning new tools and processes relevant to analysis, governance, and reporting on complex data in a dynamic environment • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines while maintaining high standards • Expert on Data Governance principles • Knowledge of business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets • Experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management • Experience with complex data profiling and analysis • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Demonstrated ability to independently develop complex queries using SQL or other coding languages • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
