• Cerapedics is a global, commercial-stage ortho-biologics company • Responsible for working closely with the Area Director or Area VP to develop the defined geography • Manage sales objectives, support as well as oversee targeted independent distribution relationships • Identify and help recruit independent distributors • Prospect for new business by identifying and qualifying sales leads • Answer a wide range of questions concerning surgical applications • Perform troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve problems quickly • Participate in or lead sales training for new distributor representatives
• Degree: BS/BA in Science related major preferred • 4-year degree minimum or commensurate industry experience • 2+ years of sales management or business development experience in the medical device field • Must be able to effectively communicate (both verbally and written) in individual and group situations • Leadership skills including mentoring and team building • Extensive amount of objective and subjective decision making, and use of judgment in non-routine situations • Extensive amount of planning and prioritizing • Ability to analyze and resolve work problems • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
