Description

β€’ Responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business β€’ Maintain and grow current customers β€’ Pricing proposal preparations and customer service follow-up after the sale β€’ Seek energetic and entrepreneurial sales representatives to market a wide variety of commodities β€’ Develop and maintain FTL business throughout North America β€’ Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold-calling β€’ Manage accounts, retain existing relationships, and grow share of business β€’ Identify business opportunities for company services β€’ Create quotations and sales proposals for company services β€’ Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency β€’ Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems

Requirements

β€’ 6 months - 2 years of industry-related experience, freight solution sales, 3PL transportation, inside brokerage sales, expedited transportation, or logistics β€’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment β€’ Able to build client relationships β€’ Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills β€’ Business-minded, with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment β€’ Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
