• Entry-level Franchise Sales Associate role within Choice Hotels • Provide experience in sales and serve as steppingstone to higher-level roles • Contribute to the development and growth of Market Area Strategic Business Plan • Meet and exceed growth of conversions, new construction, and adaptive reuse of hotels • Participate in training to learn about the industry, tools, and sales process • Conduct initial outreach to potential franchisees and present franchise opportunities • Collaborate with brand head and operations team to improve pipeline quality and performance
• High School Diploma • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred • Military and/or college experience is desirable • Business-to-Business sales experience in the hotel industry, hospitality, franchising, or a related field preferred • On-property hotel experience in operations or sales preferred • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals/quotas and driving business results • Ability to collaborate with business leaders across organizational lines • Strong negotiation and influencing skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demeanor • Strong analytical skills • Knowledge of the hotel industry and competitive brands, including Choice Hotels’ brands, sales and marketing strategies, and service offerings • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Prior experience using CRM applications desirable • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with a willingness to relocate on an as needed basis
