Description

• Conducts loss control surveys/physical inspections of commercial accounts. • Provides underwriters with accurate descriptions of insured's physical and operational details. • Identifies hazards and potential loss exposures and makes recommendations. • Consults with underwriters and assists with account operations and exposures. • Conducts accident investigation and loss analysis. • Provides safety and supervisory training to insureds. • Maintains specialized knowledge of relevant codes and regulations. • May mentor and train new employees, lead teams, and review assignments. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Safety, Engineering, Insurance, Business or related discipline. • Generally, 6 to 10 years of related experience. • Certifications like CSP, CFPS, ARM, CSHMS, ALCM, or OHST are a plus. • Prefer candidate in Phoenix AZ or Southern CA. • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
