β’ Bachelor's degree in related field; OR equivalent work experience β’ 5 years of experience leading demonstrations, trainings, and presentations β’ 5 years of experience articulating value propositions for specialty product(s) and responding to inquiries about product functionality β’ 5 years of proven track record of successful technology and/or online content sales β’ Ability to develop a deep understanding of specialty product(s). β’ High level of enthusiasm, with strong influencing and negotiation skills. β’ Ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and draw meaningful conclusions and action plans from data. β’ Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships. β’ Capacity to learn and effectively utilize Salesforce and other programs relevant to the role. β’ Advanced degree in Library Science or related field β’ A proven track record of successful technology and/or online content sales. β’ Strong ability to collect and manipulate data to identify new opportunities and increase sales. β’ Experience with internal sales and forecasting tools to track leads and close ratio. β’ Previous experience working in a matrix sales environment. β’ Previous experience selling in the academic library community.
