• Drive sales activity for assigned product lines • Collaborate with Account Manager on uncovering and creating new business opportunities • Serve as the subject matter expert on specialty products • Qualify top opportunities based upon key initiatives • Assist Account Manager with specialty product forecasting • Coordinate with Account Manager to determine best team member for client engagement • Lead individual and group product demonstrations • Maintain pricing ownership with direction from sales director and pricing team • Enter leads and new activity into SalesForce.com for specialty products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field; OR equivalent work experience • 5 years of experience leading demonstrations, trainings, and presentations • 5 years of experience articulating value propositions for specialty product(s) and responding to inquiries about product functionality • 5 years of proven track record of successful technology and/or online content sales • Advanced degree in Library Science or related field • Strong ability to collect and manipulate data to identify new opportunities and increase sales • Experience with internal sales and forecasting tools to track leads and close ratio • Previous experience working in a matrix sales environment • Previous experience selling in the academic library community
