β€’ Drive sales activity for assigned product lines β€’ Collaborate with Account Manager on uncovering and creating new business opportunities β€’ Serve as the subject matter expert on specialty products β€’ Qualify top opportunities based upon key initiatives β€’ Assist Account Manager with specialty product forecasting β€’ Coordinate with Account Manager to determine best team member for client engagement β€’ Lead individual and group product demonstrations β€’ Maintain pricing ownership with direction from sales director and pricing team β€’ Enter leads and new activity into SalesForce.com for specialty products

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in related field; OR equivalent work experience β€’ 5 years of experience leading demonstrations, trainings, and presentations β€’ 5 years of experience articulating value propositions for specialty product(s) and responding to inquiries about product functionality β€’ 5 years of proven track record of successful technology and/or online content sales β€’ Advanced degree in Library Science or related field β€’ Strong ability to collect and manipulate data to identify new opportunities and increase sales β€’ Experience with internal sales and forecasting tools to track leads and close ratio β€’ Previous experience working in a matrix sales environment β€’ Previous experience selling in the academic library community
