β’ This is a remote position. β’ We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to help our clients manage the companyβs payroll processes and provide support in recruitment and employee relations. β’ Process payroll for more than 200 employees using iSolved (currently biweekly, - transitioning to weekly) β’ Provide support for benefits administration, including entering payroll deductions β’ Submit royalty payments to the franchisor and enter payroll journal entries into the general ledger β’ Support the month-end closing process by reviewing statements, examining disbursements, and preparing necessary reports β’ Oversee accounts payable and manage expense reports β’ Record all financial transactions, including debits and credits β’ Reconcile over 5 bank accounts and manage business Visa/credit card activity β’ Apply customer payments, issue credits or refunds, and follow up with delinquent accounts β’ Prepare customized financial reports and handle special projects as needed β’ Perform financial analysis, including budget vs. actual, prior year comparisons, and trend analysis β’ Assist with cost control and ensure compliance with internal processes
β’ College educated (accounting-related course is preferred) β’ Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring β’ Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff, a time-tracking application β’ Professional-level English (written and verbal/voice) β’ At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookup) β’ Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop preferred) β’ Experience using payroll software (ADP is preferred but not required) β’ Experience using any Customer Relationship Management tool is a plus β’ Computer or laptop with access to the internet (min speed of 25 Mbps) β’ Hardware Requirements β’ At least a 720p HD Webcam. β’ A noise-canceling headset. β’ At least a 25mbps primary internet connection. β’ A backup laptop, backup internet connection device, and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies. β’ Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher β’ Minimum recommended for your backup computer: Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM
