Description

• Cloudian seeks a Systems Engineer to support sales efforts in the TOLA sales territory. • This position works closely with sales personnel. • Duties include demonstrations, PoCs, and presentations to prospects regarding technical attributes and capabilities. • This role is responsible for sizing a complete solution of Cloudian products based on customer needs.

Requirements

• Provide technical expertise working with prospective customers: quickly understand customer requirements and specific configurations to facilitate the proposal of Cloudian based solutions that address customers’ needs. • Set up, support, and troubleshoot customer POCs, manage POCs towards completion and booking • Lead and/or participate in customer status calls • Provide product demos, either in person or remotely • General storage solution knowledge including data protection, backup, archiving, DR, availability, and performance planning • Linux OS (CentOS/RedHat) • IP networking with experience in DNS, Load Balancers, firewalls • AWS S3 API • Object storage architecture and deployment • Occasional evening and weekend work will be required when engaged on time sensitive engagements
