Description

• Provide independent ad hoc portfolio modeling using Verisk catastrophe model. • Report findings to senior analysts and recommend actions to management. • Support the development of catastrophe strategies with team members. • Create and coordinate reporting dashboards in MS Excel or Power BI. • Build and maintain custom in-house tools. • Analyze statistical data and provide insights. • Participate in assessing the impact of real-time catastrophes on CNA’s portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field (computer science, math, actuarial science, etc.) • Typically a minimum of four years of related work experience. • Solid knowledge of the Verisk or Moody’s RMS Cat model and statistical concepts. • Proficient in SQL coding and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
