Description

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on purchasing and vendor contracting • Evaluating and onboarding vendors, contract review, negotiation, and purchase order processes • Handling requests, facilitating notices, managing vendor renewals, and ensuring legal document execution • Maintaining contract management system for tracking contractual obligations, renewal dates, and expirations • Negotiating with vendors on contract terms, conditions, and pricing • Acting as a liaison with legal counsel, internal business owners, and vendors • Leveraging cost savings opportunities and establishing cost-effective practices • Troubleshooting and resolving vendor issues and challenges • Performing deep dive analysis on contract and spend information for potential savings identification • Establishing a strong network and fostering collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, information technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, training, and education • 5+ years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, contract management, and/or related field delivering similar job outcomes • Other functional experience, particularly in IT, business strategy, business analysis, the credit union industry or finance is an advantage • Experience redlining and negotiating contract agreements preferred • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Experience with data analytical/reporting tools preferred • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills • Ability to prepare Executive Summaries of agreements which include business context, key terms, benefits, cost analysis, risks, and mitigations
