📋 Description

• A senior-level position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's community fundraising strategy, implementation, and results. • This VP will work closely with the CDO and all senior level leaders across the Alliance to develop comprehensive strategies that engage and mobilize all constituencies across the organization to garner support for the Alliance's mission. • Ensure appropriate strategies and approaches to attract and leverage the connections and involvement of champions in communities across the country to raise significant funds through fundraising events and engagements. • Scale a volunteer led, staff supported fundraising events model. • Oversee and grow all signature Alliance events and fundraising events. • Create a 1-3 year strategy for growing different lanes of revenue for community fundraising. • Develop a plan for promoting the End Colon Cancer Coast to Coast DIY fundraising program that maximizes engagement and revenue returns. • Lead a total team of approximately 10-15 individuals providing them inspiration, coaching, professional development, and recognition. • Identify prospective donors, sponsors, and partners for fundraising events, and build relationships with volunteer fundraising leaders.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience at the senior level in local and national community and event fundraising with proven performance in exceeding revenue goals. • Experience creating budgets, forecasting revenue, and building strategic plans. • Proficiency with fundraising applications and CRM databases using available data to perform comprehensive donor data analysis and reporting. • Strong understanding of data utilization and management, as well as the effective use of fundraising technology and data for strategic operations and decision making. • Experience supervising and managing a diverse and geographically distributed team with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, delegate responsibility, and inspire, engage and motivate staff. • Highly creative and entrepreneurial individual who is a strategic thinker and a strong fundraiser with a passion for connecting people with a mission and its programs. • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
