Description

• Manage and maintain Ubuntu servers and Azure cloud infrastructure • Utilize Ansible for automation tasks • Monitor server performance and resolve issues proactively • Oversee Azure cloud administration and optimize resource use • Maintain data centers with Proxmox clusters • Administer and optimize MariaDB databases • Implement robust security measures and compliance • Design data backup and recovery procedures • Create and maintain system documentation • Respond to system-related incidents and provide support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in a Linux environment • Strong knowledge of Ubuntu servers, including installation, configuration, and administration • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking • Familiarity with Proxmox clusters in a datacenter environment • Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management • Experience with MariaDB/Maxscale administration • Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and troubleshooting • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and system monitoring • Experience with security practices and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessments • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively, both independently and collaboratively • Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus • Experience with PowerShell, related to Azure IaaS administration
