β’ We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the West Territory. β’ This role requires a proven ability to achieve sales targets and work independently, with a consultative selling approach, strong listening skills, customer-centric questioning abilities, and excellent collaboration skills. β’ The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in educational sales and a proven ability to build relationships and trust, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth by aligning our solutions with customer needs. β’ Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand our presence in the West Territory. β’ Engage in consultative selling, using active listening, problem solving and customer-centric questioning to uncover needs and present tailored solutions. β’ Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within schools, districts, and other educational organizations. β’ Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, innovation and direct outreach. β’ Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions. β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive long-term success. β’ Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasting using CRM tools. β’ Stay informed on industry trends, funding opportunities, and competitive landscape to position our offerings effectively. β’ Travel within the West Territory as needed to meet with customers and attend relevant industry events.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in educational sales, business development, or account management. β’ Strong consultative selling skills, with a focus on active listening and customer-centric questioning. β’ Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with a remote team. β’ Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and align with internal and external stakeholders. β’ Ability to effectively communicate and tailor solutions to diverse customer needs. β’ Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. β’ Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. β’ Ability to travel within the West Territory as needed.
