Description

• The Constructive Dialogue Institute is seeking a Director of Marketing to execute the organization’s strategic marketing efforts in a fast-growing, mission-driven team. • The Marketing Director will play a critical role in developing and executing CDI’s brand marketing strategy and solidifying our position as the market leader for delivering evidence-based programming to promote constructive dialogue and improve campus cultures. • The ideal candidate has experience in building and managing comprehensive marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, creating content, and managing PR and social media strategies. • This person will report to the VP of Growth, and have the opportunity to build and manage a small team dedicated to executing on CDI’s marketing strategy. • The Marketing Director will also be responsible for managing key relationships with outside agencies and vendors who provide PR and other services. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research, Content, and Leadership, to ensure our brand is communicated effectively and consistently across all channels.

Requirements

• 7+ years of senior marketing experience with a proven track record in brand-building, ideally within a startup, high-growth, or mission-driven organization. • Experience in building and managing a small team of marketing professionals to execute a well-rounded, data-driven strategy. • Demonstrated experience managing third-party relationships with PR firms, agencies, and other vendors. • Strong background in designing and executing high-impact marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness, drive engagement, and enhance connection with target audiences. • Deep understanding of content creation, email marketing, and public relations to build an impactful and cohesive brand presence. • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to convey CDI’s message clearly and authentically across channels. • Experience in tracking, analyzing, and adjusting marketing performance to maximize impact; familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot is a plus. • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in CRM platforms and marketing automation tools; experience with HubSpot is strongly preferred.
