• The Senior RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) Business Performance Analyst is responsible for creating, analyzing and optimizing the revenue cycle analytics strategies, tools, and outputs. • The Senior Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, consult on designs that drive optimal business insights for internal and external stakeholders that enable maximizing revenue and operational performance across the revenue cycle. • Work in cross functional team to design, build, and maintain analytics tools. • Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue cycle performance data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle performance (e.g., Days in Accounts Receivable, Denial Rates, Collections, and Cash Flow). • Provide regular reporting to management, summarizing performance metrics and recommending actionable insights to improve business performance. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure requests for changes to analytics and reporting are vetted and appropriately scoped and prioritized. • Implement best practices and industry standards to ensure processes are aligned with compliance regulations and operational goals. • Identify operational insights opportunities thru routine committee meetings with Operations and other stakeholders to improve quality and impactfulness of the analytics solutions. • Share knowledge and educate team members on how to interpret and use performance data to improve outcomes. • Lead or participate in special projects aimed at improving revenue cycle processes, reducing operational costs, and optimizing revenue generation. • Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure the successful completion of initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare business analysis, with a focus on performance optimization. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights. • Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Tableau, Excel, PowerBI). • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable format. • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred. • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and HIPAA compliance standards is preferred. • Experience in healthcare financial operations or payer relations is preferred.
