Description

• The Accounting Manager oversees finances for multiple clients in education and non-profit sectors. • Responsible for monthly accounting close, financial analysis, and reporting. • Manages an accounting team, conducts training, and provides feedback. • Engages with clients on financial management and presents at Board meetings. • Maintains confidentiality and upholds accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. • 6+ years of accounting, financial reporting, and financial management experience. • 3+ years prior experience managing and prioritizing the work of direct reports or project team members. • Prior experience working in a non-profit is required. • Prior management of multiple projects and clients is preferred. • Prior experience working in a school, or socially responsible organization is preferred.
