• JOB SUMMARY • The Disability Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the disability claims team. • This role focuses on ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance with industry standards, and meeting key performance indicators. • The Supervisor will oversee a team of claims analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance and promote career development. • Major Duties & Responsibilities • Team Management: • Supervise daily operations of the disability claims team to ensure efficient workflow and quality outcomes. • Oversight of the scheduling, quality assurance and/or admin functions (including ensuring all intakes are addressed promptly). • Train, mentor, and develop team members to achieve individual and team goals. • Drive client satisfaction by ensuring all client inquiries and communications are addressed timely. • Operational Excellence: • Monitor and assess team performance against established KPIs and metrics. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement action plans. • Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiencies. • Reporting and Compliance: • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by company policy and regulatory standards. • Prepare reports on team performance and present to management. • Other duties as assigned. • EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: • An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. • JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred. • Prior experience with disability claims processing is highly desirable. • JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: • Strong leadership and communication skills are required. • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions effectively. • Proficiency in using relevant software applications and systems is essential. • WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Must maintain a reliable internet connection for remote work. • Staying connected is critical for fulfilling job responsibilities. • This job description is subject to change at any time.
