• We are Digital Science and we are advancing the research ecosystem. • We are a pioneering technology company, our vision is a future where a trusted and collaborative research ecosystem drives progress for all. • The VP - Enterprise Market is a senior member of the Enterprise Segment leadership team. • The role ensures the strategic vision for the Enterprise market at Digital Science is translated into actionable plans. • The role serves as the cornerstone of the Enterprise Segment’s growth initiatives and requires a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape. • The VP will be an internal facing role, while the EVP is external. • It is preferred that successful candidate for this role is based in the Boston/Massachusetts area.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people development skills, being able to act as a coach and mentor. • Strong business knowledge and experience interpreting trend data. • A proven track record in commercial or sales leadership roles in a high-growth technology company. • Experience in taking new products to market in a SaaS environment. • Experience in managing and developing budgets, setting pricing, and developing new pricing models. • Demonstrated working knowledge in Enterprise markets. • Experience working in collaboration with successful, cross-functional and remote-based teams where the team is more than the sum of its parts. • Extensive experience as a Chief Commercial Officer or other relevant role in a similar high-growth environment. • A solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. • An ability to learn quickly and to adapt easily to new situations with a high level of practical problem-solving ability. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, able to navigate relationships to achieve progress in a complex matrix organisation. • An excellent communicator who is comfortable speaking across multidimensional stakeholders internal and external. • A strategic thinker, influencer, and motivator, able to articulate your vision to take people on a journey with you. • Thrives in a high-pace, high change environment and can navigate ambiguity to drive change. • Can strategize and negotiate the best way forward and execute this clearly and diplomatically.
