Description

• The AVP of Business Optimization oversees the project management office (PMO). • This individual communicates to the EVP—OPERATIONS and COO on all projects. • Manage program and project teams for the best return on investment. • Develop and manage project budgets and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives. • Establish the PMO role and create a Center of Excellence in alignment with PMI guidelines. • Coach and mentor project management practitioners and share knowledge of best practices. • Prioritization of proposals with the highest potential value and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. • Agile certification is highly desired. • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience is preferred. • PMP is highly desired. • Expert ‐ level knowledge of project and change management methodologies, techniques, and processes (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology – PPM). • Budget, cost, and profitability management skills. • Knowledge of resource management tools. • Ability to influence without authority. • Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables. • Demonstrated leadership ability to establish and manage a high ‐ performance team. • Motivated to build executive-level relationships with technology, solutions, customers, and vendor groups.
