Description

• As the VP of Engineering for the Core Business at Dropbox, you will be a key leader responsible for the overall success of our engineering initiatives for our core products. • You will report directly to General Manager for Core and play a pivotal role in shaping the engineering direction of the company. • In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of product engineering and will partner closely with product, growth, sales, marketing, and design teams. • You will lead the engineering teams responsible for the development of all of our core products including FSS, DocSend, Sign, Replay, and Capture for personal, professional, and team use. • We've built a top-tier product engineering team and are seeking a visionary leader to guide our next phase of growth.

Requirements

• 12+ years of engineering experience in a medium or large software company including • 6+ years managing high performance teams • Experience managing engineering teams similar in size to our 400 person engineering organization • Ability to balance business delivery with engineering quality, strong business acumen, • and a keen eye for data-driven decision making, • Strong technical craft mastery and engineering discipline • Deep organization capabilities, especially in regards to influence, collaboration and communication • Experience building a high performing culture a must
