Description

β€’ Echodyne is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to join our fast-growing team. β€’ Lead a team of Solutions Engineers responsible for both pre and post-sales technical engagement. β€’ Oversee team members in showcasing Echodyne's products through on-site radar demonstrations. β€’ Manage installation planning, integrations, deployment configuration, and ongoing technical support. β€’ Act as a liaison between Solutions Engineering and other departments to align efforts. β€’ Coordinate the creation of training materials, user manuals, and application notes. β€’ Guide team in conducting post-demonstration data analysis for customer engagements. β€’ Work closely with product management and engineering for product development feedback. β€’ Up to 50% travel may be required.

Requirements

β€’ Demonstrated ability to lead a team in managing customer relationships within complex, technical environments, fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving. β€’ Proven track record of learning a technical product and conveying the value of that product to potential customers. β€’ Personal integrity, trustworthiness, and respect while representing Echodyne, demonstrating the product, answering questions, and effectively communicating the product and company value propositions. β€’ Resiliency with a positive attitude, as well as analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. β€’ Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and decision-making skills. β€’ Solid technical foundation and good technical writing skills. β€’ Enthusiastic with outstanding customer-communication skills, including the ability to convey high-level overviews and deeply detailed explanations. β€’ Experienced in coordinating efforts across teams and organizations. β€’ Experience deploying or operating radar systems, especially Electronically Scanning Array radars. β€’ Familiarity with a computer programming language, preferably Python or Matlab. β€’ Experience with Linux operating systems and using a Command Line Interface. β€’ Basic understanding of digital signal processing functions and application to various sensor modalities. Direct experience with radar signal processing a plus. β€’ Comfortable troubleshooting both hardware and software issues and working with customers to determine root causes of issues. β€’ Experience conducting basic data plotting and analysis.
