• About Empassion: • Empassion is one of the most impactful and exciting start ups in health care. • We are focused on improving the experience and lowering costs for seniors at end of life. • Specifically, we provide palliative and hospice care for seniors with serious illness and high risk of an over-medicalized death. • This population is highly neglected in the current market. • Empassion clients are payers and risk-bearing entities and we work with community palliative and hospice partners to deliver superior outcomes. • We are live today across 44 states and growing rapidly. • Empassion is a hybrid remote/in-person company, with headquarters in NYC. • We prioritize asynchronous work and communication but are quick to get on a call or Zoom. • About the Role: • We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented individual with a passion for process development who is comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. • You will play a key role as the sole member of our recruiting team. • This position will oversee our full-cycle recruiting process and establish processes to ensure alignment between hiring managers and key business stakeholders. • This includes, but is not limited to, sourcing, initial candidate interviews, scheduling, onboarding, offboarding, and offer generation. • This is a fully remote, contract position, reporting into the Finance Manager. • Hours will fluctuate with business needs, anywhere from 5-20 hrs/month during standard business hours. • Opportunity to expand hours dependent on business need.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, experience recruiting for technical roles a plus • Demonstrated ability to source and engage qualified candidates • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Rippling or similar HRIS, Lever or similar ATS, and Google Workspace • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills • Posses a bias for action and enthusiasm for fast iteration • Experience working cross functionally across teams with open and clear communication
