📋 Description

• Euclid Power is a renewable energy software and services company that is building the operating system for the renewable energy industry; we make data management and workflow tools to help project developers and investors build more renewable energy projects. • We believe it is time that the process of deploying renewable energy projects was powered by software, as much as social media or online ads. • Euclid is trusted by some of the largest solar investors, solar developers, utilities, and technology integrators to provide software, guidance, and project diligence support. • Our company is committed to hiring talented team members and advisors who are hardworking, passionate, and committed to our mission. • At Euclid, learning, growing, and testing the best ideas are central to our approach to solving one of the world’s most important challenges: climate change. • Reporting to the Director of Service Delivery, will maximize the value of Euclid’s vast data; establishes and implements framework for collecting and organizing data. • The ideal candidate has a robust background in renewable energy development, database structuring, management, integration and user interfaces, and exceptional people management skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering, computer science, and/or information systems, preferably within the renewable energy or construction sectors. • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in renewable energy project development, acquisitions and operations • Deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, including data sources and industry-specific analytics and data points • Technical Proficiency: • Experience in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks • Demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets, perform data validation, and user interfaces • Familiarity with programming in languages such as Python, Java, and/or Scala • Excellent communication skills, including an ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audience • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including demonstrated experience using creative solutions to unforeseen problems • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with different types of personalities • A self-starter looking to take ownership of a problem, create a strategy and lead the technical and non-technical aspects of implementation
