• Craft scalable user interfaces and mentor development best practices • Build and maintain design system libraries and architecture • Ensure Marmalade is available for consumers in a timely and stable way • Participate in Marmalade ecosystem and outreach • Grow skills and take ownership of system aspects

Requirements

• Keen appreciation for design excellence and quality of design implementation in code • Expertise in design systems and modern product development • Deep experience in CSS architecture, responsive design, and web accessibility • Experience with React, React Native, Typescript, SCSS, CSS Modules, and Storybook • Solid knowledge of the Node.js ecosystem • Experience in testing UI components for design and accessibility standards • Experience with design systems and GitHub contribution workflow • Ability to work closely with designers in converting design into code • Experience enhancing collaboration through tools like Figma plugins • Hands-on experience with build, test, and release methods • Pragmatic and collaborative outlook in complex environments
