Description
• Lead and execute late stage clinical trials for oncology products • Participate in design/planning of clinical studies • Establish and approve scientific methods for clinical protocols • Recruit clinical investigators for research studies • Report adverse events and safety responsibilities • Coordinate reporting information for FDA • Monitor adherence to protocols and determine study completion
Requirements
• MD with board certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and 10 years post-residency related experience; or, • Equivalent combination of education and experience. • Nine years of drug development experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, or a combination of academia and industry. • Hands-on experience in design, execution, and reporting of controlled clinical trials in oncology. • Participation in clinical oncology studies with molecular targeted or immunological therapies. • Understanding of basic science relevant to clinical oncology (biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology and/or genetics).
