Description

• Exiger’s Product Design department is looking for a well-organized, multi-talented and passionate Product Designer to bring best of breed UX, UI & GUI elements to all our products – via a state-of-the-art Design System they will help build & maintain. • The Product Designer | Design Systems Lead will organize, analyze, spec, and hands-on design our key components, templates and repeatable elements, working closely with engineers, PMs, and design peers in tandem to deliver our ambitious product roadmap & ensure processes, standards, and living design system motion are met. • Configure a Figma file structure, living design system directory, best-in-class specs and documentation to ensure our universe of legacy products transitioning into a singular platform will be sticky and configurable, yet elastic to support ongoing needs. • Collaborate closely with front-end engineers and fellow designers to ensure a seamless correlation between Storybook, Figma, and our 1Exiger environment. • Perform Design QA on new features, templates, components, and atoms. • Follow the product design cycle from research and testing through creating pixel-perfect UX, well-defined UI, and final hand-off to developers. • Ensure design consistency across products by creating stretchy, dynamic design elements that are reusable across features. • Conduct research exercises with new or existing customers to confirm and refine design concepts or adapt templates based on evolving needs. • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously for different PMs and stakeholders, maintaining focus on best-in-class design components and implementation. • Be a self-starter, identifying dependencies, gathering additional information proactively, and building internal mechanisms to improve processes. • Embrace a culture of constant feedback, striving for best-in-class UX design quality and consistency across all platform products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Engineering, Cognitive Studies OR equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience as part of a design team (preferably larger) for a SaaS product • Proven Experience building and maintaining a design system in a company with a mid-to-large Dev team (minimum 8 engineers), as a sole / lead designer • Familiarity with fast-paced Agile environments • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills • Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, and Storybook
