Requirements

• 8+ years' of overall experience in software engineering. • 3+ years' of people management experience within an engineering environment. • Experience with Java/J2EE technologies and working with the Spring Boot framework. • Proficient in Object-Oriented Design principles and J2EE design patterns. • Strong working knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs and NoSQL Databases, and MQ or Kafka. • Strong working knowledge in Automation Testing – Unit and Integration testing. • Expertise in end-to-end application architecture and system design. • In-depth understanding of AWS cloud services, security best practices, and cloud design patterns. • Strong working knowledge on containerization and orchestration services (Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and AWS EKS). • Strong understanding of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) practices and frameworks. • Strong understanding of observability into APIs and services using tools like Prometheus, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Splunk. • Good working knowledge on any of the cloud provider IaC tools such as Terraform (preferred), Puppet, Ansible, and CloudFormation. • Experience in creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale. • Experience with Big Data technologies is desired.
