Description

β€’ Provide technical assistance to clients β€’ Help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems β€’ Ensure prompt and accurate customer service to increase client satisfaction β€’ Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking β€’ Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals β€’ Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems β€’ Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions β€’ Conduct remote troubleshooting β€’ Test alternative pathways until resolving an issue β€’ Customize desktop applications to meet user needs β€’ Record technical issues and solutions in logs β€’ Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel β€’ Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional β€’ Report customer feedback and potential product requests β€’ Help create technical documentation and manuals

Requirements

β€’ Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role β€’ Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments β€’ Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners β€’ Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs β€’ Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions β€’ Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills β€’ Customer-oriented attitude
