Description

• As an Account Manager you are responsible for achieving and exceeding the quarterly - and annual Sales quota in your assigned region. • You will report directly to the Sales Manager. • Plan and carry out sales activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales. • Review and make recommendations to optimize sales, protecting and growing existing business while establishing new accounts. • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through regular account visits. • Maintain opportunity tracking through active and ongoing funnel management. • Develop ideas and build offers for digital demand generation marketing. • Oversee and report on territory activities and share insights and learnings with the wider team. • Manage the product family and advise on pricing according to agreed targets. • Partner with Field Service Engineers to provide outstanding service while improving our opportunity for new and additional opportunities to grow the business. • Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems. • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales. • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business. • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years relevant (technical) sales experience. Experience in the medical device market is desirable. • Experienced in selling capital goods and consumables. • Experience in interacting with stakeholders in the sterilization, hospital hygiene or operating room fields. • Strong analytical, commercial and digital literacy such as Excel, Sharepoint, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.com. • Understanding of medical devices would be preferred but is not exclusive. • Experience with FBS/Lean operation principles of continuous improvement is preferred. • Proficient in English is required. • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to use them at several organizational levels. • Flexible. Able and willing to travel as the need emerges.
