Description

• The Senior Director of Cloud Operations is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments. • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for CloudOps. • Build and lead a high-performing CloudOps engineering and support teams. • Implement best practices for monitoring, incident management, disaster recovery, and high availability. • Optimize cloud usage and costs by implementing effective cost-management practices. • Partner with the Fortive InfoSec team to establish and maintain robust security policies. • Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to support and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role. • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform). • Proven experience with cloud migration, architecture design, and infrastructure management in large-scale environments. • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and cost management practices. • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement. • Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps. • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional, or Azure Administrator Associate. • Demonstrated experience in financial management and forecasting in a cloud environment.
