📋 Description

• As a FinOps Analyst, you’ll assist customer teams in understanding the FinOps methodology and provide guidance on how to mature the organization in the FinOps capabilities. • You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and optimizing IT costs and utilization for cloud, platform, commercial software, DevSecOps products and solutions. • You will play an important role in integrating IT and business, enabling cost transparency, showback, and chargeback to support planning and financial projections. • Develops and champions cloud infrastructure cost management best practices • Partners with finance, procurement, & engineering teams to help measure/manage cloud infrastructure costs. • Builds analytical models to provide data-driven guidance on cloud infrastructure spend. • Creates utilization and forecasting models to predict future outcomes of cloud infrastructure spend and usage. • Creates and maintains internal documentation on FinOps and cost optimization processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance • 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, GCP and/or Oracle cloud services • 2+ years of experience working in a DoD or other Federal Government environment • Deep understanding of CSP FinOps tools • Experience with relational databases, data extraction, and data analysis tools • Understanding of Federal Government IT procurement processes • Understanding of industry best practices related to Cloud resource tagging and tagging enforcement through automation
