📋 Description

• The Sr. Director of Capital Improvements leads all capital improvement projects across assigned divisions and FPI sites\n• Ensures on-time and within-budget completion\n• This role encompasses strategic planning, vendor management, team leadership, and proactive client communication\n• Responsibilities include proactive communication of complex information (technical) for vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance oversight\n• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs\n• Conducting property inspections\n• Managing vendor relationships\n• Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance\n• This position also manages and mentors the Director of Capital Improvements and the Regional Maintenance Directors

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required\n• A college degree in a related field is preferred\n• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in renovations, maintenance, and construction, including at least 5 years in a multi site regional Maintenance or Director of Capital Improvements role\n• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience\n• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English\n• Spanish is a plus\n• Demonstrated experience in the real estate and multi family housing industry, preferably in a third party management environment with a variety of product types\n• HVAC certification required\n• Industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT, etc.) preferred\n• Due to the collaborative nature of this work, consistent attendance is essential
