📋 Description

• Freethink Media is looking for a creative strategist and content editor. • Oversee a team of content editors creating sponsored content. • Work closely with the wider Studio team on strategy and performance. • Commission, edit and write digital articles for sponsored partnerships. • Build and produce digital content utilizing best practices for SEO and social media. • Research, pitch and book industry experts to feature in our content. • Come up with creative ideas for new partnership proposals. • Write copy for pitch decks, collaborating with a designer. • Be aware of competitor business activity and trends. • Analyze performance data to inform creative decisions. • Collaborate with the Publishing team for future work best practices. • Manage a growing team of editors and writers.

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. • 8+ years of experience as a digital journalist. • Experience collaborating with clients. • Experience in both editorial and commercial roles is preferred. • Strong commissioning, writing and editing skills. • Knowledge and experience in core topics: tech, science, social change and business. • Ability to pinpoint what makes a successful branded content campaign. • An abundance of creative ideas for innovative content solutions. • Strong knowledge of SEO and social media strategy. • Strong communication and influencing skills. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. • Experience generating ideas for video content - both onsite and social. • Ability to adapt content strategies across multiple platforms, including onsite, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and more. • Proactive leadership approach. • Positive, can-do attitude. • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed. • Ability to be passionate about the work without being precious. • Must be discerning in how/where you focus your efforts for maximum impact. • Openness to feedback and challenge. • A desire for continuous learning and improvement.
