β€’ Freethink Media is looking for a creative strategist and content editor. β€’ Oversee a team of content editors creating sponsored content. β€’ Work closely with the wider Studio team on strategy and performance. β€’ Commission, edit and write digital articles for sponsored partnerships. β€’ Build and produce digital content utilizing best practices for SEO and social media. β€’ Research, pitch and book industry experts to feature in our content. β€’ Come up with creative ideas for new partnership proposals. β€’ Write copy for pitch decks, collaborating with a designer. β€’ Be aware of competitor business activity and trends. β€’ Analyze performance data to inform creative decisions. β€’ Collaborate with the Publishing team for future work best practices. β€’ Manage a growing team of editors and writers.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. β€’ 8+ years of experience as a digital journalist. β€’ Experience collaborating with clients. β€’ Experience in both editorial and commercial roles is preferred. β€’ Strong commissioning, writing and editing skills. β€’ Knowledge and experience in core topics: tech, science, social change and business. β€’ Ability to pinpoint what makes a successful branded content campaign. β€’ An abundance of creative ideas for innovative content solutions. β€’ Strong knowledge of SEO and social media strategy. β€’ Strong communication and influencing skills. β€’ Excellent time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. β€’ Experience generating ideas for video content - both onsite and social. β€’ Ability to adapt content strategies across multiple platforms, including onsite, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and more. β€’ Proactive leadership approach. β€’ Positive, can-do attitude. β€’ Willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed. β€’ Ability to be passionate about the work without being precious. β€’ Must be discerning in how/where you focus your efforts for maximum impact. β€’ Openness to feedback and challenge. β€’ A desire for continuous learning and improvement.
