• The Sr. Billing Support Specialist provides high level support of the assigned function(s) by performing various analytical and project activities. • The incumbent is responsible for supporting operations to ensure maximum efficacy and efficiency within the assigned function(s). • Provide high level assistance in the management of applicable processes within the assigned function(s). • Provide active support of business implementations, billing clearinghouses. • Generate and distribute diverse reports for management review on a routine basis. • Review current policies and procedures within the assigned function(s) with a focus on continue improvement efforts; providing recommendations for improvement as necessary. • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to facilitate revenue cycle initiatives within the assigned function(s); serving as a point of contact as necessary. • Mentor other staff as applicable. • Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.
• 5 - 8 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years' experience; or a PhD without experience. • Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database and email applications. • Advanced proficiency with business warehouse (BW), billing and financial systems (e.g., MDP Billing, SAP Business Warehouse, Hyperion, SAP, etc.). • Strong working knowledge of general accounting and revenue cycles. • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills. • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask concurrent priorities in an organized manner. • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
